Dal Fry – Recipe

This dish is something that has been there on my mind for quite sometime. Finally I decided to make it today. This is the first am making dal fry and happy it doesn’t taste yuck!!

Ingredients:
3 spoons of toor dal
2 small onions
2 small tomatoes
2 green chillies
1/4 sppon Ginger-Garlic paste (or ginger & garlic)
1/4 spoon jeera
1/4 spoon mustard seeds
1/4 spoon red chilli powder
1/2 spoon salt

Cooking:
Wash the dal and boil it till it becomes soft.
Cut the onions, tomatoes and green chillies into small pieces.
Heat oil in a pan and to this add mustard seeds and jeera. After few seconds when it gets fried, add cut onions, tomatoes, green chillies. Mix them. Now add red chilli powder and ginger-garlic paste. Mix them nicely. Add salt and fry the mixture till they get fried.
To this add boiled dal and little bit of water. Boil the mixture for few seconds.
Add coriander leaves for smell and taste.

Now dal fry is ready to be served. This can be mixed with rice and eaten. To accompany this dal fry I made potato fry. This combination is deadly. Try it.
